Fun and unusual packaging project establishing 'Wink' as a new carbonated fruit beverage. I began with researching the beverage category, paying close attention to color, product environment, and typography. I found that the most similarities present in bright, flat colors, simplistic design, and an expanse of negative space.

I began the design with modern interpretations of fruit intersections, finding a minimalist font with a corresponding weight and feel. My initial design was bold and eye-catching. However, it lacks the proper contrast and leaves the logo and product description to fade into obscurity. Therefore, I minimized transparency and beefed up the line weights so there was ample contrast between 'Wink' and the flavor name.
